Stuff and Things May 9, 2008

Barrett and I decided to hit up Banger last night at the Middle East.  I was looking forward to seeing XO Skeleton play because their guitarist is from Hatebreed.  Seeing as I used to like Hatebreed, i thought maybe this band would be half decent.  WRONG.  It was not my cup of tea.  I don’t know if it was just the sound at the club, but it sounded like Mindless Self Indulgence gone bad.  It was a big cluster-fuck of noise.

The remainder of the evening was fun.  We had a few drinks, I bounced around/danced.  Barrett took video of the entire night.  Its pretty funny, he’ll be filming someone and I would bounce through the shot with my Sparks in hand.  I would post the videos but I think I would rather not have me awful drunken dancing be on the internet for everyone to laugh at.

I’m not sure how Barrett can get up and go to work the next morning.  I’ve been sitting around reading blogs, watching the Gilmore Girls and Grey’s, and I shopped a little.  Not quite a productive day.  I did however manage to FINALLY make it into Davis Squared.  The shop is super cute and has a ton of I would potentially buy… if my salary tripled.  I did pick up a few small things, I could post pics but I don’t feel like moving.  Maybe later.
